Updated for the Adsterra & Midnight Lagoon release. This notice describes the supplied website, not an assurance of legal compliance for every future integration.
The short version.
You can read the journal without accepting optional advertising. The website has no reader account system, payments, comment database or newsletter database. Search, bookmarks and requested reading preferences run locally. Optional Google AdSense and Adsterra integrations are blocked until your applicable choices and required provider-consent checks permit them. The operator has supplied an Adsterra 300×250 display-unit key, now configured behind consent checks. A native unit is prepared but paused pending layout and delivery verification. No certified CMP has been installed in this package; the strict consent gate therefore continues to block live advertising. AdSense is not configured.
Who operates this publication.
TechnoGalaxy is maintained by the website operator. A public editorial/privacy email and formal operator contact details have not yet been supplied. The contact page currently provides guidance, not a working submission endpoint. The operator must publish appropriate identity and privacy contact information and complete the relevant provider disclosures before a commercial advertising launch. Do not send passwords, financial details, API keys or other sensitive information through unverified channels.
What is stored on your device.
The site may store requested theme preferences as tg-theme, bookmarked article identifiers as tg-saved, and the hide-ad-placeholder preference as tg-ads-hidden. These are not sent to an editorial database or synchronized between devices. A first-party consent choice is stored as tg-consent-v1 in local storage, including the notice version, advertising-configuration scope, timestamp and separate AdSense/Adsterra choices. Local storage is a browser technology distinct from a cookie; privacy requirements can apply to both. No advertising opt-in is preselected.
First-visit choices and duration.
On a first visit without a valid saved choice, the privacy panel offers Accept all optional ads, Reject optional ads and Manage choices. Manage allows each named provider to be selected separately. Rejection does not block access to articles. Escape records optional advertising as rejected. The choice expires after at most 180 days, or earlier if the advertising configuration or consent-notice version changes, the record is invalid or you clear site data. If storage is unavailable, the preference may last only for the current page and you may be asked again.
What acceptance does—and does not—authorize.
Acceptance records your optional-advertising preference for the selected named services. It does not authorize unrelated analytics, sale of information, future unnamed vendors or arbitrary new purposes. It does not certify legal compliance, approve the site with an advertising network, or create an IAB TCF consent string. Where additional vendor/purpose choices are needed, the operator must install and configure an appropriate certified consent platform. The supplied loader requires a real, owner-verified Google-certified CMP with a matching approved CMP ID, its current authorization and your local provider opt-in before serving optional ads. An unknown consent region or unavailable CMP leaves ads blocked.
Google AdSense.
When configured and permitted, Google and applicable advertising partners may process IP address, device/browser information, page context, cookies or other identifiers for ad selection, personalized advertising, measurement, fraud prevention and related service operation. Partners and purposes depend on the operator’s actual account, CMP message and network configuration, which must be disclosed before activation. Google requires a certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework for personalized advertising in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. The supplied custom panel is not that certification. See Google advertising information and Google’s publisher consent requirements.
Adsterra.
When configured and permitted, Adsterra and applicable advertising partners may process IP address, browser/device information, page context, cookies or similar identifiers for advertising, personalization, fraud prevention and measurement under their actual terms. Only approved display-banner configurations are supported by this release. It does not activate popunders, Smartlinks, social bars or automatic redirects. The operator must identify the actual vendor, purposes, approved domains, relevant retention and required CMP authorization before enabling it; no vendor ID is invented. See Adsterra’s privacy information.
Withdrawal, settings and browser signals.
Use Cookie & ad choices in the footer to change or withdraw local permission as easily as granting it. The panel also links to the installed provider consent settings where available. A detected Global Privacy Control signal or Do Not Track value of 1 keeps optional advertising blocked in this implementation. These signals do not certify every legal opt-out obligation. After withdrawal, the site may reload to remove already loaded advertising code and prevent new provider initialization. It cannot retract data already sent, erase cookies belonging to another domain or control external services. Use browser settings and provider controls to clear third-party cookies or exercise additional rights.
Ad reservations and performance.
Labeled reserved spaces make no provider requests by themselves. Display ads load only near eligible visible placements, once, after applicable consent checks. Hiding placeholders is a separate display preference, not a consent record. No popup takeover, autoplay video or automatic refresh is included. Providers may still affect performance or use additional delivery domains after a future integration; the operator must test and disclose actual behavior. No earnings, viewability, click-through rate, unchanged retention or fixed ad availability is promised.
Search, bookmarks and sharing.
Search runs against the public article index on your device. The site does not send reader search terms, bookmark lists, reading progress or consent choices to editorial AI models. Unsaving a bookmark affects only this browser and never deletes a published story. Sharing uses the device’s sharing capability or copies a public article link; external apps have their own privacy policies. Opening an external source, provider-policy link or RSS app is your choice and is governed by that service’s practices.
Hosting, security and international processing.
The hosting provider receives requests needed to deliver pages and assets and may process IP address, browser headers, time and server/security logs under its policies. External source sites, an installed CMP and permitted ad providers may process information independently, including in other countries. Their retention periods and transfer safeguards depend on their current agreements and jurisdictions; this site does not invent a universal deletion deadline or transfer guarantee. The operator must disclose actual arrangements and apply appropriate safeguards where required. Browser controls, blocked storage or declined consent may limit optional functionality but not ordinary article reading.
AI-assisted editorial publishing.
Research, writing and image preparation take place in the operator’s isolated publishing workflow, not in a visitor browser. The free-only adapters support verified nonbillable Gemini, Groq and Cloudflare accounts, with original local illustrated summaries as an image fallback. Selected public source excerpts, claim ledgers, drafts and images may be sent to configured providers for generation or review. These are not reader search terms or bookmark data. Provider terms govern processing; unpaid Gemini usage may be used to improve Google products. Do not submit confidential or sensitive personal material to unpaid services. Local usage counters contain totals and timestamps, not API keys, full prompts or visitor identifiers. API keys remain in repository secrets, never the public website.
Your requests and rights.
Depending on applicable law and the actual processing, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, withdraw consent, obtain portability or complain to a supervisory authority. Most first-party preferences can be viewed or deleted in browser site-data settings. Requests relating to independent hosting, CMP or advertising providers may also require their processes. Because an operator privacy contact has not yet been supplied, this release must not be presented as a completed commercial privacy/compliance setup. The contact guidance is not a claim that a request was submitted or received.
Children and sensitive information.
The publication provides general technology explanations, not services specifically directed at children. It does not request sensitive personal information. Before enabling ads, the operator must determine applicable age-related duties, configure relevant child-directed or under-age treatment and avoid prohibited personalized advertising. This notice does not substitute for those decisions or for legal advice.
Updates to this notice.
Material changes to optional providers, purposes or consent configuration invalidate the saved choice in this implementation and require a new decision. Merely updating an article does not renew consent. Review this policy and the actual CMP/provider notices when settings change. Cookie choices are separate from the website terms and do not imply agreement to unrelated processing.
Supplied Adsterra tags and display boundaries.
The configured banner script uses bicea.org and the supplied public unit key. It is created only after the applicable local and real-provider consent checks pass, in a fixed-size sandboxed frame, with at most one initialization of that unit per page and no auto-refresh. It is skipped when the available space is narrower than its approved 300-pixel width. The native container tag remains paused until its exact layout fits and real delivery has been verified. The supplied arwf.org direct link and unidentified bicea.org/14/ script are not executed by this website. A script host can change behavior or contact additional partners; the operator must confirm the actual partner list, privacy purposes, region handling and provider approval before activation.
